Portal Cranes

The Ganz Danubius Crane Ltd. undertakes the design and turn key delivery of level luffing harbour portal cranes, effecting these works both in Hungary or abroad.

The level luffing harbour cranes are suitable for multiple service like hook-, grab- and other combined operation like lifting containers as well. Naturelly the portal cranes are designed and manufactured upon the unique requirements regarding the loading capacity, jib radius and other parameters of the ports as special equipments. The moving mechanizmes of the cranes are provided with the most up to date controlled drives, resulting the increased service life time, indipendently of the increased loading capacity.

Reconstruction

The company undertakes the reconstruction of GANZ harbour portal cranes. This reconstruction is generally connected with modernization as well.

This means among others to install electric control in the requested individual -or in all-, drive mechanismes. (In such cases the driving gears and motors are renovated, repassed.
In the scope of reconstruction and modernization of the GANZ cranes the following main services are offered:
* Site cheking, isnpection
* Elaboration of offers for the necessary repair or for reconstruction
* Design and execution of the repair and the reconstruction
* Design and execution of the improvement of the electric equipment
* Servicing
* Spare part supply
*Site assembly and erection works, supervision
* Preparation for operation, puting into operation, trial operation of the cranes

These can be provided either separately or totally as a complete scope of services, always in a Ganz quality, with guarantee.
The reconstruction of the harbour cranes combined with modernization generally means a 15-20 years life time increasing, with a relatively low investment and expenditure.

Container Cranes

The container crane production is an important issue in the scope of activity of the Ganz Danubius Crane Ltd. These are individually designed upon the customer's requirements with various dimensions and moving characteristics, and are manufactured jointly by cooperating with partner companies. The container cranes meet the demands of railway shifting yards, of river harbours and recently of container terminals as well.

The lifting spreaders for the container cranes are chosen from the products of manufactturers having good reputation, so the references are ensured. These are suitable to handle 20 -30 -40 feet containers, consequently the lifting capacity of the cranes on the spreaders is 30-42 tons. Also the container cranes are designed with up to date energy saving electric control (frequency changer).

Individual Hoisting Equipment

The activity of the Ganz Danubius Crane Ltd. covers the wide spectrum of the hoisting equipment, so the design of cranes serving for special individual technologies is included in the scope of activity. Such crane was the recently manufactured oil coke handling gantry crane of grab operation for the MOL company.
The overhead travelling cranes for serving different manufacturing processes also belong to the scope of various hoisting equipment. Upon the demand of the customer these can be executed with controlled drive and with different control equipment. The necessary lifting drives for these cranes are supplied by manufacturers having the proper references, and belonging to the cooperation backgroud of our company.
